Lots of events going on in East Texas this weekend, just in time to help you celebrate the holidays! Enjoy Christmas in East Texas with something from this list:
KLTV's Holiday in the Park - in Bergfeld Park on South Broadway: The tubing hill and snow play area are back, more than 50 vendors will be on hand, dance groups will perform starting at 11:30am, there'll be a free movie at 6 pm, and, best of all, "Santa Scirto" will return on Saturday at around 3:45 p.m! Bring your kids to have lots of fun and to get a picture with Santa. Click here for more info.

Christmas parade and Christmas in the park. Parade starts at 5:30pm and Christmas in the Park follows the parade. There will be vendors, barbeque, cakewalk, entertainment and free games for the kids.
Flight of Dreams Fly-In benefitting Rainbow Room of Wood County (providing Christmas toys to kids in foster care in Wood Co.), Angel Tree and Toys for Tots. 11am-3pm you can watch R/C aircraft pilots do aerobatic demonstrations and fly. Always exciting for kids and adults! Bring a toy for admission, or make a donation to the charities. Santa Claus is coming to town again on Saturday, December 14th from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm at the Mineola Historical Museum. He will be greeting all the children at his Mineola house behind the museum at the end of Postage Stamp Lane. The museum is located at 114 North Pacific Street. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever - presented by the YES! Company (Youth Excellence on Stage). This final production of the 2013 season brings students between the ages of 5 and the eighth grade together in this beautifully written story of relationships and getting along.
